Rich Hunt, co-owner and coach
Rich is a Bristol-based musician, and a graduate of the prestigious Academy of Contemporary Music in Surrey.
​
Since graduating he has gained experience teaching in a variety of settings, including full-class lessons and coaching groups of children in a rock-band environment.
Aside from music, Rich enjoys keeping fit and checking out the local coffee shops!
Dan Budd, co-owner
As an accomplished (and younger) musician, Dan performed to large crowds across the UK and Europe.

Nowadays, his time is divided between running redMusic, leading local group 'Ukulele Jam', teaching guitar & ukulele and spending time with his wife Ally and their three boys, Asher, Jacob & Benjamin.
Helen Altoft, coach
Helen Altoft has been playing music since she was very young. Learning to playing the flute, piano and guitar through school, and later drawn towards the drum kit aged 17.
She believes creativity and expression is an essential part of all of us and playing and learning music is a place in which we can not only build on musical ability but have fun, stay healthy and happy and build on many positive personality traits such as self-discipline and personal confidence.
Helen teaches drums to an advanced level and plays in a number of bands from varying genres including rock and pop, rockabilly and country to big band jazz.
Louise Schwarz, coach
Louise is a Bristol based musician who regularly performs around the South West of England and Wales.
After gaining her Grade 8 Harp certification in Hong Kong in 2007 she moved to Cardiff to study Popular Music and Drama, and has recently obtained a Masters in Solo Harp Performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Chris Walsh, coach
Since studying music at the University of Gloucestershire and Professional Musicianship at BIMM Bristol, Chris has been working as a professional musician.
He has performed across the country, as well as internationally, and has completed many studio sessions, including working on Gaz Brookfield's album 'Lost Folk'.
Alongside his career as a performing guitarist, Chris has been teaching in schools, colleges and privately, and is looking forward to getting started with redMUSIC!
Ryan Upward, coach
Ryan is a Bristol-based professional guitarist and songwriter, and is a graduate of BiMM (British & Irish Modern Music.
He has been writing and performing original music with Bristol artists in a variety of styles ranging from Funk / Soul to Progressive Metal. He is currently releasing an album with his alternative rock band Hypersleep.
Ryan's guitar teaching approach is to create a fun environment that helps students reach their goals.
Chris Archela, coach
Chris is a busy musician with more than 20 years of experience, both from performing and teaching. His passion for music and life make him a constant learner, and this impacts the way he approaches teaching.
His main influences are Rock, Blues and Pop styles of music, including bands such as Guns’n’Roses, Led Zeppelin and Foo Fighters.
Chris Archela currently plays guitar in two bands in Bristol, and in 2019 toured around Europe with one of his originals projects.
